CASUALSwere far too strong for Croydon. Both sides playing some attractive early football, but it was nearly 15 minutes before the first effort.
Casuals’ Danny Cunningham shot wide from the edge of the box, and Warren Mfula shot over from ten yards.
On 32 minutes Casuals were ahead when Max Oldham weaved into the area, only to see his shot parried by keeper Max Ovenden for Mfula to stab home.
Five minutes later, Croydon had their best chance when Lewi Shango’s cross was smashed against the bar by Royce Greenage.
