IN midweek, Wessex League side Hamble Club warmed up with a 6-0 away win in their county cup but had a taste of their own medicine this time. The win was not as straight forward as the score suggests until Salisbury took the lead.
Tom Whelan showed the way after a subdued start with an individual goal after he thrust into the box past three defenders before giving Hamble keeper Rory Anderson no chance.
