SALISBURY disappointed their supporters, being held to a draw by Evo-Stik Division One South side Yate and will face a difficult replay in two days’ time.
The Bluebells had the first chance but Adam Price fired over from distance and it was not until the 21st minute that the home side’s Lewis Benson brought a great stop from Yate keeper Ross Grimshaw with a 20- yard free-kick.
Matt Partridge should have given Salisbury the lead but somehow managed to put a simple unchallenged three-yard header over the bar.
