SWIFTS were made to work hard for their victory against their Thurlow Nunn League opponents.
The opposition were led by former Swifts favourite Michael Shinn, and they went in deservedly 0-0 at half-time.
Swifts struggled to create clear chances.
The second half was mainly one-way traffic as Swifts pushed hard and despite heroics from Alex Archer; Swifts were able to grab the lead when Sam Bantick scored from close.
Nick Brown then made the game safe late in when slipping home.
