KNIGHT FIRES IN FOUR IN ROUT

BOWERS & Pitsea got their FA Cup qualifying campaign off to a flyer with a 5-1 win thanks to four goals from striker David Knight.
The visitors were on the backfoot inside the first minute when Quentin Moneville’s shot was spilled and Knight rifled in. When Lewis Manor was felled in the penalty area on 29 minutes, Knight duly converted for his second of the match.
The striker claimed the match ball when Moneville’s cutback was slotted away before the winger again proved pivotal by crossing to Manor for Bowers’ fourth.
