AN UNDER-STRENGTH Chorley cruised into the third qualifying round, wrapping up the proceedings in a seven-minute purple patch.
A phase that began with clever build-up left Marcus Carver with a 24th minute tap-in and two minutes later a foul gave Adam Blakeman the chance to double the hosts’ lead from the penalty spot.
Leek hit back with a cross-shot from Lewis Short which rattled the far post but Chorley soon went 3-0 up.
