BURROW ON TARGET FOR MINSTERMEN

A FIRST-HALF goal from former Gateshead striker Jordan Burrow saw York edge an entertaining tie. Burrow struck after 11 minutes with his sixth in six games and had another effort cleared off the line.
Sean Newton also saw his second-half penalty saved by keeper Peter Jameson, but it was far from all York. Blyth piled on the pressure in the second period but couldn’t find a way past former keeper Adam Bartlett.
Much-travelled front man Burrow converted former Blyth loanee Macaulay Langstaff ’s nearpost cross for the winner.
