FIXTURE CHANGES A SMALL SACRIFICE

IT’S January which must mean the FA Cup has started.
While the clue is the fact it’s the third round proper, it’s also an event that people seem to forget the competition has been going on since August.
A lot of the commentary has been about how the third round fixtures were carved up over different days and kickoff times because of the huge international television deal signed by the FA.
Some accused the governing body of selling its soul to the highest bidder and ruining the FA Cup further.
