LOSING clubs will bank prize money throughout the FA Cup qualifying rounds after the FA decided to extend it from just the preliminaries.
It means clubs who are knocked out at the fourth round qualifying stage will still receive £6,250 – while it’s worth £18,750 for the winners at that stage.
In the extra preliminary round – which kicks off on August 10 – £2,250 is for grabs for the winners.
