ATHLETIC SNATCH DEBUT WIN OVER DEAL

SUTTON Athletic continued their FA Cup dream in their first appearance thanks to a last-minute own-goal winner against Deal Town FC.
After waiting over 121 years for an FA Cup appearance Sutton wasted no time getting going as Arlie Desanges put them ahead.
However, Kent-based Deal didn’t read the script and pulled a goal back through Sam Wilson to draw them level before the break.
Desanges put the hosts back ahead after the break only for Wilson to almost break their hearts, only for an own goal at the death settled the tie.
