NPL will be a close run race

AFTER reading some of the many preview pieces for the Northern Premier League in last weekend’s paper I am convinced that we are in store for one of the best title races in the division for years! There is no doubt that South Shields (who I note are the current favourites) will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. The investment that has been made to that club is really impressive and their squad has only become stronger this summer with further notable additions to their playing staff.
