BILLY SMART early goal was the difference.
The visitors edged past Northern League underdogs Seaham Red Star after Smart netted.
Will Jones almost put Albion ahead inside the opening five minutes as he pounced on an error.
Smart then struck a low effort past Bannon four minutes later after a mix-up in the Seaham defence.
Sean McRoberts fired high and wide in response before Michael Chilton’s header was blocked and David Robinson headed wide.
