AT 30 years of age, Dave By Phil Brennan Wild, one of the youngest managers in senior football, has just started his second full-term in charge at Mossley AFC.
Remarkably, Wild has only been involved in football for six years, moving from a community coaching role to first team manager at a Step 4 club in that time.
As the saying goes, behind every successful man is a very strong woman, and in Wild’s case this is certainly true.
“Six years ago I was a Call Centre manager, but the job was draining the life out of me,” Wild said.
