LANCASTER and Northwich will meet again on Wednesday night.
Northwich began well with two ex-Lancaster players having good chances in the opening 15 minutes.
First Tom Kilifin fired wide from a good position after ten minutes and then three minutes later, a Ryan Winder shot forced a save.
Lancaster began to look more confident with their first chance coming after 27 minutes when Brad Carsley headed a Jack Armer cross wide.
