TWO goals from striker Luke Charman helped Darlington into the first round proper for the second successive season at the expense of brave Step 4 side Cambridge City.
Charman scored twice in the first half hour, and could have scored more if it wasn’t for Cambridge keeper Dan George and the woodwork.
Quakers though couldn’t put the game to bed, and they gave battling Cambridge some hope for the second half.
