REFS ONSIDE WITH FUNDRAISING SCHEME

A GROUP of big-hearted match officials in Birmingham are spending the second lockdown raising money for to feed needy people in the city .
With football at their level cancelled, the referees are aiming to run a total of 1,000 kilometres before the decreed end of the lockdown on December 2, in order to collect money for local food banks.
They are Danny Robinson, Ash Clarke, Callum Fisk, Matt Joyce, Alan Cox, Lewis Smith, Tom Durno, Kev Carroll, Aaron Ford, Ben Cooke, Neil Pratt, Simon Lane, Simon Brown, Lewis Mountain, Callum Finnegan, Dave Barrett and Martin Shutt.
