IN a match played in difficult wet and windy conditions Isthmian North AFC side Sudbury overcame their Isthmian Premier opponents with a sweet strike from 12 yards by Luke Hipkin on 32 minutes.
The goal came from a Sudbury break down the right that saw Lewis O’Malley pull the ball back from the goal line where a waiting Hipkin coolly slotted home.
Cheshunt for their part fought hard but they could not breach a resolute Sudbury defence that kept its eighth clean sheet in the last nine matches despite having to use their third goalkeeper...
