■ BASFORD United were cruelly knocked out after an 89th-minute winner from sub Ethan Johnston.
Johnston was only introduced four minutes earlier and was on hand to prod home Kelvin Langmead’s near post header.
Basford started the brighter and that continued throughout as they did everything but trouble Jack Harding in the away goal.
Kane Richards went close in the first half, and Matt Thornhill must have thought his 65th-minute hit from six yards out was the opener but a floored teammate in Marcus Marshall blocked the ball.
