■ GUISELEY progressed after a hard-fought win over Blyth Spartans.
Guiseley took the lead with ten minutes gone, good work by Regan Hutchinson led to a cross eventually finding Jamie Spencer, who volleyed in.
Blyth threatened through two Nicky Deverdics freekicks that caused problems for host keeper Luke Jackson, who both times did enough to ensure they didn’t go in.
The hosts came close to doubling their lead with Jacob Gratton being well denied by the visitors keeper Alex Curran.
