BOTH teams fought out a thrilling match in the most awful of conditions, with wind and driving rain throughout.
Visitors Billericay didn’t manage to score in the first half, when they enjoyed the benefit of the conditions.
The home side, with an increasingly strong wind behind them, took only three second-half minutes to take the lead. Billy Clifford set up Jake McCarthy to fire home.
