IT proved a good day to be called Ben as Kempston saw off the challenge of Wisbech Town to progress. Ben Baker broke the stalemate on the half hour, springing the visitors’ offside trap down the left flank before cutting inside and firing home from 12 yards out past a elpless Luke Pearson.
Wisbech improved after the break and created their best chance with 20 minutes left when Kegan Everington’s stinger from long-range was turned aside for a corner.
