A SECOND-HALF strike from Jonathan Lacey was enough to put Berkhamsted into the next round. Ware began well, but Berko came into it as the first half progressed.
Just before the interval Ware had their skipper Dan Rumens sent off and another yellow card in the incident. Ware protested about Lacey’s goal unsuccessfully claiming offside, but he advanced and shot past Fred Burbridge.
