WILLANDROVERS are in the hat for the first round after defeating a plucky Ilfracombe Town side, but they required keeper George Burton to save a penalty in the 78th minute to ensure they progress. Adam Poole’s header gave the home side the perfect start in the seventh minute.
Four minutes later, Lewis Hill was tripped in the area and Will Richards scored from the spot.
Liam Short then pulled one back for the visitors. Town had a golden opportunity to equalise but Charlie Prentice’s penalty was saved by Burton.
