ST IVES cruised into the next round with a comprehensive win at Isthmian League Premier side Canvey Island.
The Ives were clinical in front of goal, putting their opponents to the sword before half-time.
Miles Cowling got the scoring under way as the visitors capitalised on a mistake in the midfield, their pass finding the striker in space to drive a low shot past the onrushing Bobby Mason in goal.
It was two after 26 minutes as Johny Edwards converted from the spot.
