■ TWO goals from midfielder Jed Abbey helped fire Alvechurch into the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.
League rivals Nuneaton were always playing catch-up once Jack Concannon had opened the scoring with just seven minutes gone.
Abbey netted his first ten minutes before the break after Matt Stenson had seen his effort for the visitors ruled out for offside.
A red card for Boro defender Joe Magunda did not help their cause and they were soon 3-0 down when Abbey claimed his second.
