FARNBOROUGH avoided the potential banana skin posed by their trip to Swindon, where the biggest opposition to them getting to the home goal was traffic chaos on the motorway.
Boro raced to an early lead thanks to the mercurial Ricky Holmes on five minutes, with rampaging centre back Kevin Lokko doubling the lead soon after, before a straight red for Boro’s Oliver Pendlebury brought the half to a close.
