BOWERS & PITSEA 2 WOODFORD TOWN 2

WOODFORD TOWN produced a sensational comeback to force a replay with Bowers & Pitsea.
The Essex Senior League side, who had beaten Hertford Town in the previous round, were hoping to produce another shock result but found themselves 1-0 behind at the break after Lewis Chambers’ opening goal, his first for Bowers. Jack Thompson doubled the lead for the hosts in the 64th minute, and as the clock ticked down it looked a case of job done for James Collins’ side.
