JOSH THORPE notched the latest in a string of goals to lead Kidsgrove Athletic into the hat at the expense of Sutton Coldfield.
Thorpe took just 13 minutes to give his side the advantage with a member of the Sutton backroom staff cautioned and then sent from the bench for protests in the wake of the strike.
Rhys Hilton fizzed one wide for the visitors as they mounted a response, only for Grove to double their advantage on the stroke of half-time courtesy of Joe Woolley’s counter-attacking run and shot.
