RUGBY came from a goal behind to ultimately win at a canter against fellow NPL regional opposition.
Lewis Holdham had given Newcastle a seventh-minute lead by running through to smash home.
Low strikes from Jordan Wilson and Drew Kear turned things around, with Valley keeper Matt Hill then denying Patryk Mazurkiewicz, Holdham, Alfie Carmichael and Kyle Stubbs. When Rugby’s Alex Lock lifted one over keeper James McClenaghan from 40 yards just seconds after his introduction from the bench, the stuffing was knocked out of the visitors.
