BARNSTAPLE prevailed in a eight-goal thriller. It was the perfect start for the Lambs as they went into a two-goal lead after 25 minutes, Alex Battle pounced on defensive slips.
The game changed after 38 minutes a Tommy Rogers shot took a deflection to leave Aaron Dearing stranded. On the stoke of half-time they drew level via Mason Kay. After 55 minutes Stu Bowker drilled home to put the visitors ahead. A defensive mix-up then allowed Bowker to roll the ball into an empty net, before Battle got his hattrick after 70 minutes from a free-kick. Barnstaple then found thems...
