HALESOWEN ended Rugby Borough’s first adventure in the FA Cup in ruthless style. Rugby goalkeeper Jake Bull beat away George Cater’s third-minute shot and McKauley Manning struck two longrange efforts just wide. Rugby captain Max Proudlock then cleared off the line from Miracle Okafor.
The Yeltz finally broke through to take a 23rd-minute lead when Jack Holmes hit home a low shot.
