■ A GOAL in each half was enough to ensure Marlow progressed at the expense of Croydon.
Despite suffering defeat at Oak Tree Road, Croydon started well with the first chance falling to Rashid Kamara in the tenth minute; but the effort from the right was saved by Aaron Watkins.
