■ MARSKE progressed with what on paper looks a comprehensive victory, but the reality was much different.
Ossett more than matched their higher league opponents, but could not get the breakthrough, despite a number of chances throughout the game.
Former Ossett United Under-23 player Eddie Church opened the scoring as he tapped in an Adam Boyes header on the goalline.
Ossett started the second half well, but hopes were dented as Josh Mac- Donald curled a free-kick over the wall and into a corner of the net.
