■ CRAY put a difficult start to the league behind them to advance in style.
The Wands got off to a flying start with a goal after six minutes when David Ijaha headed home. On the 15thminute mark, Cray scored a well-crafted second with Tom Derry finding the net.
The Wands added a third five minutes into the second half when Yahya Bamba netted, but Newhaven pulled one back in the 64th minute when Alfie Rogers’ free-kick was pushed out with Rob Malila following up.
