SUBSTITUTE Jack Tolley added a second-half strike to efforts from Alex Babos and Yusifu Ceesay in the first period to ensure Hereford cruised into the fourth qualifying round. Step 4 Cambridge City forced a couple of quick corners but it was Hereford who found the net after six minutes.
Babos was brought down on the edge of the area and got up to curl the free-kick over the wall and beyond the dive of keeper Joe Welch.
