TONBRIDGE Angels held on against a valiant Merstham side.
The home side had dominated, creating a myriad of chances, and felt they were in complete control.
Sean Shields saw an effort cleared in front of the goalline before the home side took a ninth-minute lead, a corner scrambled to the feet of Trevan Robinson, who took his chance.Two minutes later, a far-post header from Crossley Lema struck the crossbar and Rob Tolfrey saved well from Liam Vincent as the Angels threatened to take the game away from their visitors.
