Which non-league teams will take part in the FA Cup first qualifying round?

The Emirates FA Cup first qualifying round draw has been made, with 112 ties scheduled across the weekend of 5 September as clubs continue their bids to reach the first round proper.

The draw has been made for the 2026/27 Emirates FA Cup first qualifying round, with 112 ties set to be played on Saturday 5 September.

The competition is gathering pace after a preliminary round packed with goals, shocks and memorable FA Cup moments.

AFC Greenwich Borough are among those still dreaming of a place in the first round proper after the cup debutants produced one of the biggest upsets, beating Cray Valley Paper Mills 4-2.

Trafford also claimed a notable scalp, winning 3-2 away at higher-ranked Runcorn Linnets.

There were emphatic victories for Hashtag United, Thame United, Pontefract Collieries, Weymouth and Lye Town, while the first qualifying round promises another batch of intriguing ties.

When will the first qualifying round take place?

The Emirates FA Cup first qualifying round will be played across the weekend of Saturday 5 September 2026, with the majority of ties scheduled for a 3pm kick-off.

Some fixtures could be moved, with the final schedule to be confirmed.

The 112 ties will see clubs continue their bid to reach the first round proper in the first of four qualifying rounds.

When are the first qualifying round replays?

There are 20 replays still to be played, with those ties deciding the final places in the next round.

All are scheduled to take place tomorrow night on Tuesday 25 August.

What is the FA Cup First Qualifying Round prize fund?

There is also significant incentive for clubs to progress, with prize money on offer at every stage.

First qualifying round winners will receive £2,250, while losing clubs will still collect £750 from the Emirates FA Cup prize fund.
