■HYTHE Town secured an impressive win away at Kempston Rovers.
The Walnuts were on the back of three straight wins, and had the chance to take the lead late in an uneventful first half through frontman Jake Newman, however, he sliced his shot wide. Hythe had struck the crossbar from a free kick earlier in the half.
It was Dean Grant who grabbed the winner for the Kent side, as he glanced a header in from a free kick.
Rovers threw everything at The Cannons, with Ben Shepherd and Sam Johnson going close.
But they held firm and progress into the First Qual...
