DIDCOT progressed in the FA Trophy thanks to two early goals from Adam Learoyd and Brett Gardner.
The Railwaymen were on track early on as, after just four minutes, Learoyd found the back of the net.
It was 2-0 just three minutes later as Sam Barder squared the ball to Gardner to finish from close range at the near post.
Hertford's disastrous start got worse as they were reduced to ten men as Keiran Joynes was sent off.
If anything the sending off seemed to galvanise
Hertford, who to their credit, kept battling, playing some neat attacking football along the way...
