SOUTH Shields avenged their chastening defeat at North Ferriby earlier in the season with a comfortable win in this Trophy rematch.
Ferriby’s emphatic win over the Mariners back in August is the Humbersiders’ only success so far this season in another troubled campaign.
The Villagers have a new manager, Paul Foot, at the helm but it was Shields’ counterpart Graham Fenton who was celebrating at the final whistle.
