A FIRST-HALF hat-trick from David Mooney ensured Royston safely secured their passage. It was Thame who opened the scoring as Lynton Goss turned in Liam Tuck’s cross.
Three minutes later Mooney volleyed in Jordan Norville- Williams’ cut back. The former Charlton man’s second arrived in the 36th minute as he finished well, while the hat-trick goal came in the 42nd minute.
Royston scored a fourth as Jamie Essex turned the ball into his own net.
