MARGATE took on Tooting and were dispatched as the visitors did the business.
The first half was tepid as the players sized each other, although things changed in the 40th minute as Danny Bassett collected the ball, sized up his shot and slotted it past the diving Holloway.
Things got worse for the Gate as skipper Ben Swift was injured and replaced by George Essuman.
The second half started as the first ended with Tooting on top and they doubled their lead through the industrious Connor French.
