CHELMSFORD survived a late scare to progress to Monday’s first round draw, thanks to Sam Howes’ 78th-minute penalty save.
It was a big day for Hungerford Town’s 17-year-old academy keeper Tommy Rees, who made his debut.
But the teenager didn’t have the best of starts as the hosts led on five minutes, Tom Knowles, who cutting in on his left foot to drill the ball home for his first goal for the Clarets.
