SITTINGBOURNE were indebted to keeper Jordan Perrin for keeping them in the game before grabbing a narrow win.
Perrin had to make a series of fine saves to keep East Grinstead at bay as the visitors had the better of the first half. East Grinstead started the second half brightly too and Kane Rowland had to clear a shot off the line, but Sittingbourne looked a different team after the break.
They took the lead following good interplay between Andy Drury and Kane Rowland ended with a cross into the box and Sam Flisher bundled the ball over the line.
