HARINGEY BOROUGH withstood a final 15-minute barrage to squeeze past Faversham on a quagmire of a pitch.
Town nearly took the lead when a looping cross-shot from Benedict Bioletti hit the bar.
But the visitors deservedly went ahead after 34 minutes when a clearance landed to Claudio-Octavian Vilco, who passed the ball coolly into the bottom left corner.
The match seemed to be heading one way when an Alfred Bawling shot home in a crowded goalmouth.
