CHESHAM edged through in a dramatic finale.
At half-time, Leafe led though two Aaron Watson goals, but Bradley Clayton reduced the arrears 90 seconds after the restart.
Chesham threw everything forward and won a penalty when Zak Joseph was tripped, but Jake Cass’s kick was saved by Tyler McCarthy. Whyteleafe then missed a penalty of their own when Sam Beasant saved from Ryan Gondoh. At the other end McCarthy made two great saves, but in the fifth minute of stoppage time Eoin Casey forced the ball in to take the tie to penalties.
