KIERAN Higgs scored two goals to give Lowestoft Town a worthy win against Lewes. The hosts dominated the game from start to finish, coping far better with the wet and stormy conditions. Jake Reed set up Higgs for the opening goal after 16 minutes.
But despite being in total control, Lowestoft had to wait until the 42nd minute before doubling their lead when Connor Parsons put the finish to a fine team goal.
Any hope of a Lewes comeback were thwarte nine minutes after the break when Higgs netted his second with a thunderous drive from 25 yards.
