■ COLNE made it through to the next round thanks to an eighth-minute strike by Olatunde Bayode.
Bayode slipped through the home defence and found the net with a low shot through the keeper’s legs.
The Purps came close to an equaliser after 18 minutes when Djavan Pedro fired just wide from a low cross to the near post.
Olie Roberts then forced a great save from Theo Roberts in the Purps goal to turn his shot round the post after 37 minutes.
Liverpool began the second half pushing forward, but Colne defended well and Elliot Johnston and George Halsal...
