ASHFORD UNITED prevailed with a composed victory over Three Bridges.
The home side squandered some big opportunities in the first half, including a glaring miss by George Nikaj.
But Nikaj made amends immediately after halftime, running almost half the length of the pitch to beat the keeper before placing into an empty net after he was wonderfully played in on goal by Mamadou Diallo.
