■ COLNE earned a place in the next round with a  narrow win against Consett. A single goal early in the first half was enough to decide the outcome despite a spirited showing by the visitors.
Consett forced a series of corners early on but Colne keeper Andre Mendes dealt capably with the high crosses.
But after 15 minutes Owen Watkinson exchanged passes with Tom Fagan before finding the far corner of the net with a low shot from a tight angle.
Consett pushed up looking for an equaliser with Cyril Giraud and Karl Byrne making defence splitting...
